    History:
    Charles Walter McCutchen (1845-1930) was a partner in Holt & Co. which was a merchant and exporter of flour located in New York City.  He was also chairman of the board of the Plainfield Trust Company, director of the Corn Exchange Bank and Trust Company of New York.  He was the son of William Moore McCutchen (1803-1889) and Eliza St. John (1809-1868). McCutchen was the husband of Mary Isabella Simpson McCutchen (1855-1948, m. 1880).
